It’s Saturday night and it’s everywhere with this engagement, a hit with the fans of the Gallagher Brothers. The new release, a follow up to his first “High Flying Birds” album of several years ago is receiving stellar music reviews by all the right critics inclusive of NME to Classic Rock.

This new album “Chasing Yesterday” is solid Rock writing as it allows Noel to shape and refine with smooth phrasing his own usage of rhyme with the best style of his brother. And with Pop sensibilities his riffs are smooth and full-bodied with enough feedback and sustain that nothing is left behind with the fade.

How sweet it is as Noel has finally stepped away from the shadows of denial to make a brilliant collection of pop influenced guitarist lead Rock songs. Full of nuances we love with the tonalities and simulated back masking of all their Beatles influences prevailing in words of slight rhythm shifts in tandem verses.

His Guitar playing is just excellent in the mix of “The High Flying Birds”. Absolutely “The Right Stuff”. With his drummer just chopping through everything in “The Ballard of the Mighty” again just excellent!

His guitar revolves in spirals of waves to which a hint of mystery is achieved from the sweep. So for a split-minute your hearing the influences of the best in British Rock for Noel is the leader without a doubt. Still the Master of Oasis.

As a American who has made London his home (with his London wife) since 95’ and with over 40 years in the Music Industry I see and Hear it. This is the Royal Albert Hall and those providing the most in distinguished Sound and Lighting board/mix techniques endlessly refine Noel’s guitar sound.

There for you is the right Big Room & mixture both in Concert production, by government funding as well as the generous and virtuous private donations to make it real for all of us that live and work in the live Music Industry. The British are doing fine and we need to learn from them for the health of the next generation of musicians.

We all know about the time and effort that was put in to save Seattle’s Finest House, The Paramount Theatre and it’s little Brother, The Moore Theatre so to see it in reciprocal, with London makes me a bit homesick for the Paramount (as they say we have History) but that’s fine, as for now I have the finest in British Cultural Sound Room/Concert hall with “The Royal Albert Hall” and all those legends of Rock that live in London.
